 Creative Side
 Art classes promote creative thinking, a sense of accomplishment, heightened self-esteem and are just plain FUN!  In our Drawing Classes students use dry media while learning about composition, proprtion, placement, shading and other basic drawing techniques.  Our Craft Classes introduce 2-D and 3-D projects, seasonal crafts, printmaking, weaving, collage, texture, basic drawing concepts and much more.  In our Painting Classes, students learn about the materials and tools, planning a painting, techniques, color basics and mixing of colors, light and shadow,  basic drawing techniques and much more.  Students receive praise and guidance and are encouraged to use their imagination and be creative!!
   With a background in Art and Psychology, Deborah Munro has an understanding of the important role that art can play in a child's life.  A child can be turned off to art for a lifetime from having one of their works of art criticized just one time.  Unfortunately, this happens quite often. 
  Knowing this, our classes although filled with useful techniques and one on one training are geared toward building the child's self confidence and giving the child the necessary skills to be able to work through those frustrating young artist moments.  Our classes are filled with praise, encouragement, and guidance and steer away from criticism.  There is also a strong focus on the students individual artistic interests.  Individuality is strongly encouraged.

Little Creative Minds art exploration classes for 2-4 year olds!!
In this parent/child class, children are able to experiment, explore and express their creative side using a variety of art materials.  The class will begin with a fun, age appropriate project and then parent/child are free to explore other mediums and materials.  Materials include but are not limited to dry media, paints, dough, stencils, markers and clay.
Classes are 45 minutes long
